John drove back to the pits and got the car fixed and ready for competition. At the restart of the race john was in 22nd and was working his way foreword but with three to go and while running 11th the team suffered mechanical difficulties and were forced into the pits with an official finishing position of 17th. Memmer Racing Team went North to Bloomington Speedway on Friday night for the last race of the season there. John in typical fashion drew a bad pill number and started 6th in his heat race. John started 14th in the feature and had a fairly uneventful night and finished a disappointing 11th. After they were done racing for the evening the Memmer Racing Team started turning the car around to go to the Big E. John had never been to Eldora Speedway before and was looking foreword to it. Qualifying went well and John qualified 22nd out of 48 cars. The team missed the setup in the heat race and didn’t transfer into the feature. John started 8th in his B-Main and passed a lot of good cars to finish in 4th and transfer into the show. John had a fair showing in the A-Main and finished 18th. John is looking forward to going back to the Big E in the near future.
